Last night I watched the History Channel's production of the story of George Washington. I realized how ignorant I am about his life and the history of the French and Indian War.
If we read about this in school, it didn't register with me.
All the details about his early life were a surprise. Hope you got to watch it too!
It was repeated Monday evening with Episode 2 following at 8:00 p.m.

I missed that show and we were watching the history of the Windsor's in England instead! We should have been watching our hown history. Wish we would have known. I fear that I don't know as much as I should about Washington either.

ReplyDeleteI just saw that the History Channel is repeating the first episode of "Washington" at 5:00 pm today (Monday) The second one is at 7:00. Are you in the Central or Easter time zone?
