This Aging Thing

I am glad I've lived this long. Many good memories are available and then there are many things that I don't remember - just ask Lee.

One of the drawbacks of getting old is that each day when I wake up, it's always a surprise to find out what is going to hurt today. Oddly, it's different things on different days.

I guess I should be glad it's not all of them on the same day.

Hope you all had a wonderful fourth!

  1. Hi, Mary Lou! I am a "most of the time" care giver for my mom, Carolyn, and she is 92 yrs old. She, too, has many aches and pains and is on strong meds for them. I, for one, am glad the 4th is over, the booming and banging was hard on all the pets and critters in our woods. Hope your day goes well!

  2. Aches and pains. I'm only 59 and I can relate. Between my feet and my back, some days I just want to stay in bed. I hope you're doing well today and enjoying the holiday weekend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

    1. Lifting or vacuuming are both hard on the back. I think mine started from lifting a garbage bag into the poly cart!

    1. The doctors tell me only Tylenol. My thought is, why not take two jelly beans? I get the same results.
