Sparkling Clean

Several weeks ago, a long distance blogger friend sent me two scrubbers. They are made from a yarn that has a scratchy texture and it also sparkles.

I have used it and liked it so I thought I would show what it can do with only water. (Disclaimer: I did soak the Corning Ware pan with soapy water and wiped it out. Only the burned on spatters in the corners remained.)

Here are the pictures.  Before and After.

I only used water and a little elbow grease. Thanks, Connie.

  1. I love those kinds of scrubbies. I should make a few but I REALLY don't enjoy the process. The yarn hurts my hands a lot. Yours did a great job on that dish. Yay for scrubbies from Connie! :-)

  3. I agree with Betsy, the yarn is heck on your hands. I made the mistake of giving all the ones I had made away before I decided to stop making them. Everyone loves them...

    1. Our store didn't have the sparkly yarn so the ones I have made are not nearly as pretty. I hope they work the same way though. I haven't tried mine yet.

    1. The "rough" yarn I bought sure doesn't make up nicely like the sparkly! I'm going to have to look at another store for it.
