Last night I checked online for the hours for Daylight Donuts in our town. Closed at the present time but open Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m.
O.K. then!
We made it out the door at 7:30, drove down Main Street to 3rd near the tracks and went to the door. The sign in the window said OPEN.
The door was locked.
Don't these people want to sell doughnuts??

My Mom used to make them:) I had an Aunt who make raised doughnuts just like the bakery ones...and jelly filled Bismarcks! Now I am hungry :(

DeleteMy Mom also used to make donuts and cream puffs. I really miss them because mine never, ever taste like hers.
