A Start

A week ago today I started another afghan, using left over yarns.  Today I have almost nine inches done. With single crochet, this may take a while!

    1. On a base chain of any length you want, sc across. Tie off yarn. Go back to the beginning and crochet 11 sc as one would normally do. In the next stitch, insert hook in the row below and make a sc. (This makes that little "V" stitch. Then continue sc for ten more stitches. Then in the 11th st, insert in row below. Continue across the row. End row, leaving yarn for fringe. Always working from the same side continue as before. That's it. Go as far as you want for length.
