The Big Blue Bowl

Today was the day to make Lee's favorite - tuna casserole. I have a large bowl that I mix it in because I need a really big bowl.
So opened the cupboard to get it out. No blue bowl. The search was on. I knew that some very dear people were here last week and they cooked us a delicious meal. Now where would they have stashed the bowl?
I looked in  pantry/every cupboard. In the last lower cupboard I found it, holding a pie plate!

It's funny when you have a spot picked out for something, you think it should be right there.

The casserole is done and Lee just said, "It's delicious!"

  1. I'll bet it was delicious. I love tuna casserole.

I always say that I'm not neat, I'm lazy. I put everything in it's place so that if someone asks it and I'm reading (napping, sewing knitting), I can just tell people where it is. I tell my husband that if something is not where it should be, I might go out and buy a new one!

  2. It has been a long time since we had Tuna Hotdish...we lived on it during college years:) I am making Tator Tot Hotdish later this week it makes a big pan and then we freeze up leftovers for a quick meal:0 Layer in a pan browned hamburger, tator tots, mixed fropzen vegetables, dilute cream of chicken soup and pour over the top...add cheese on top and bake for about 45 min to an hour.

    1. That sounds like something my husband will eat. Anything casserole with hamburger is a hit.

  3. I love tuna casserole. My Mom used to make it for us for lunch because my Dad refused to eat it. It is definitely a comfort food for me because I associate it with my Mom and eating it together, just the two of us.
Isn't it funny how we always use the same dishes for things? I would have searched that bowl out too. :-)
    Blessings,
    Betsy
