Where do the days go? Well, partly with me napping. Some days the most minor of jobs needs some sleep time afterwards.
Today Lee brought in the mail. It included a puffy package from the north. What nice people bloggers are!! Thanks a very nice lady who knew I was looking for sparkly yarn. I'll be busy neglecting the afghan again.
The weather is ideal for the start of the Kansas State Fair here. I prefer to hunker down and avoid the traffic. We're used to our local law breakers. No telling what the outsiders will do.

Our County Fair, which is huge, began yesterday. It goes for 12 days, (I think). I used to go every year but I really am only interested in the needlework section anymore and the rodeo. It costs way too much to get in just to see the needlework since I can't sit in the grandstand to watch the rodeo anymore. When we moved here to the wild west I was really pleasantly surprised how much better the rodeo is. My favorite is the "mutton busting" where little kids ride sheep. It's so cute. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday.
Blessings,
Betsy
Here the gate prices aren't high. Seniors are $4. Kids five and under are free! $6 is the regular price.
DeleteI was just thinking of you with no sparkle to crochet! :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have made two. Are there any chains involved in between the dc's? I don't think so but think it's just standard 12, 24, 36.
