Golden Dollar

I didn't even know we had a gold dollar. I well remember silver dollars and it was so neat to get one as a gift on special occasions! Then we had the Susan B. Anthony dollar that didn't last long. It looked too much like a quarter.

And now we have James Madison honored on the $1.00 coin.

Maybe if Ms. Anthony's coin had been golden, it would have been more popular. We'll never know.

    I will have to ask for some at the bank, I have not seen them :)

      The bank is where I accidentally saw them in the change tray at the window. We use the drive-through most of the time.
