Just To Prove I Saw the Eclipse

I have a wonderful Canon point and shoot camera - small to carry and easy to operate with video, options for portraits and other "stuff."

Today I would have liked to have had a high-powered telescopic lens to shoot the moon.

This is what I was able to preserve at 5:15 a.m. Half an hour later it looked mostly red.  I'm glad we didn't have a cloud cover.

    I saw the beginning of it. I had to get up and visit the bathroom and looked out the window.

      It was pretty warm here (for October) so I didn't even need a jacket to stay out and watch.
