This tree has been near our garage since we moved here, almost nine years ago. At first it was more like a bush. When it started getting taller, Lee trimmed it every year. This is the first year he has seen mulberries on it. Of course, I googled mulberry bush/tree and they black and white ones grow on trees. They are from Eastern Asia. I didn't taste any of them. We also discovered that lady bugs are very plentiful on the branches.
"Here we go round the Mullberry Bush, the Mullberry Bush so early in the morning." I haven't thought of that for years:)
