1905

This is a picture of my paternal grandmother's sister and her husband and daughter.
The little girl was born in 1904 so I wonder if this was maybe taken on her 1st birthday.
Fred and Eliza Pringle Hampton and Violet Ruth.

In the relation-ship puzzle, this was my great aunt and uncle and my first cousin, once removed.
Many pleasant memories of watermelon pickles, graham crackers with white frosting between them, and rides with Violet's daughter Marcheta in the old car. Uncle Fred could never refuse us anything - resulting in the root beer, mulberries, ice cream and watermelon incident.  http://marylourambles.blogspot.com/2012/03/watermelon.html

  1. It's a great thing to have fond old memories of family members. It's a better thing to have a photo or two of the people involved. Nice one!
