The sun is shining and we heard a loud clap of thunder. I looked out the west window and saw the edge of the storm.
Knowing it's dangerous to be outside when you hear thunder, I went out anyway to get the photo. I read recently that a young girl, walking in the sunshine, was struck by lightning when the storm was 15 miles away. That seems almost impossible.
This storm was much closer than 15 miles. No sprinkles though. . . or lightning strikes.
