Moon Flowers

Yesterday at 10:30 the blossom was starting to wilt.

 

 

By 4:30, all were closed up. When it gets dark, they will open again - thus the name, moon flower.
I have mentioned before that they are poisonous for pets. L. pulled them all out when the pups were
still chewing everything in sight. Now that the dogs are three years old, the chewing has stopped and this volunteer plant will remain in the yard!
