Made in a tin lid from a chalk box, this plaster of paris handprint has moved with us. I think
we made them for a present for our mothers - maybe Christmas or Mother's Day. My thumb
went into the edge and I was afraid I had ruined it.
My teacher's name was Miss Schmucker. I wonder if she was related to the jelly and jam family.

I do. Then I wonder why I can't remember important stuff from the near past instead of the long ago.
