I really like these blossoms. Too bad the plant is poisonous. They usually bloom at night but I caught this one yesterday late afternoon with sun peaking through the other plants.
It is really called Datura inoxia and yes all parts of it are poisonous. There is plant that grows like a vine that I call Moon flower and it only blooms at night. Datura can be open in the daylight:)

ReplyDeleteThanks! They were all over our back yard and L. pulled most of them out. Some did bloom at night but not all.
