Our first dog was a Boxer.
L. always wanted a Great Dane so I picked out a Basset Hound
instead, thinking that would avoid a LARGE dog.
It didn't work. We got the Great Dane puppy, Bruno, seen above
with Duffer and L.
So far we've had nine dogs in the sixty-one years we've been married.
Four were Great Danes.
Now we are down to two small rescue dogs - terrier mixes - and cheaper to feed.
We are Dog people too...yes I imagine that Great Danes would eat a tad more than a Terrier. We have had seven dogs in 43 years. Several overlapped! :)
