This is my dad (on the chair) and his brother, Harvey Lee.
It was quite common for boys to have long curls at that time.
In an article on Douglas MacArthur, the author stated that the
general's mother dressed him "like a girl, with long curls."
Not an uncommon site at the beginning of the
twentieth century!
