This is a photo of my mother's family.
She is the one with the large bow.
I met all of them people except my grandfather.
He died before I was born.
I wonder if the photographers all said,
"Don't smile."
Perhaps with a time exposure it is easier to maintain a
serious look than a phony smile.
My memories are full of smiles from them.
I love looking at old family photos. There are very few from my family, so I always enjoy seeing them from other families.
