Do I remember when stamps were 14 cents? Not really!The building was used as an exterior in the movie The Shining with Jack Nicholson. I believe I read that the interior shots were made in a studio.
The lodge is beautiful inside and out.
If you are ever in the area, it's a great place to visit.
