Across the bottom of the tv screen - the crawl - came these words:
Military jets safely escort NYC and Detroit flights. No arrests made.
Is this who, what when where and why? No. Makes absolutely no sense.
Maybe the purpose of these "news" items is to pique your curiosity and lead you to research the story.
In my case, I was simply confused. Maybe it was the hour - 5:30 a.m.
Later the story was covered on a network show.
Military jets? Really???
