Garrison Keillor

Wednesday night we went to see Garrison Keillor. This is his farewell tour. If you have heard him on public radio, you know his brand of humor - a little strange but very funny.
For two hours he stood, walked or briefly sat on a wooden stool and talked. Not a sip of water, not a break, not a note. Just a long conversation with the audience, telling stories of Lake Woebegone and his quirky relatives.

I hadn't bought tickets, thinking they were a little pricey and just happened to hear someone on our car radio offering two seats on the aisle for half price! Amazingly I remembered the telephone number and called it as soon as we were home! The purchaser even delivered them. I am sorry the couple couldn't go, but sometimes things just work out.
