The explanation was that if they ordered in a supply, they might not sell them for an extended period and this type of battery would not hold a charge.
How about ordering just one for me? Nope, they don't do that either. Very strange customer service.
Maybe they just figure that when the battery finally fails, you will be in the market for a new phone. He didn't mention that option, however.
I'm not blaming the employee. He was helpful and did sell us a "refurbished" battery that is guaranteed for thirty days.
I guess we'll be searching Radio Shack or checking Wichita stores.
