Hutchinson Flood

The sign on the building on the right says The Davis-Child Car Co. On the front there is a sign that

looks as if it were placed there when the building was built. It says The Kirk Building. When I was

a kid, that building is where we bought a Hudson. There was a huge elevator that took the cars upstairs.

I was impressed that such a thing was possible.  Later Davis-Child was across the street and they sold Chevrolets.
