The Case of the Missing Tomato

A week or so ago I made potato salad. It is so much better than the kind you pick up at the
deli.  I did buy a couple of Roma tomatoes to slice but I only used one of them.

I left the other one on the counter rather than put it in the refrigerator.  A few days later, I
didn't see it there. I looked in the vegetable drawer. Not there or in any other part of the
fridge. I asked L. if he had moved it (or eaten it.)  We never did find it.

Today was the day to use some more potatoes which are stored in the pantry. Inside the
sack was a rotten tomato and four potatoes. I'm just wondering what I had on my mind
when I put the tomato in the potato sack.

  1. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does things like that.

  2. I think there may be more of us who just don't admit it!

  3. HA! I'm guilty of the same type of things. Home made potato salad is one of my favorite things. There are so many ways to make it also.
