Today I had a regular "check-up" with the oncologist. This will be the last time we meet in our home town. He is moving his practice to another place east of here even though he has been treating people in another town to the west. That will continue.
It's hard for me to understand how driving every day to another town could be much fun. I suppose people who live in large cities drive that far every day to a job. And let's face it; there is much less traffic on K 96 than there is on 75 in Dallas! My dates for seeing this doctor are six months apart so we won't have to travel a lot!
So he remains living here. L. told him we'd just come to his house for appointments. That got a little chuckle out of him.

Is it anywhere close to Haven?? There is an alpaca farm around that area called JP Alpaca Haven that I would love to check out, if you didn't already know about it. How far away does he live now though?
