On many blogs devoted to old photos, there are pictures of unknown persons.I have lots of old photos but luckily I know who these folks are.
This is my dad's cousin, Violet.
She was the mother of my second cousin, Marcheta - the nearest thing to a sister that I had. We grew up together and in later years, after Marcheta had moved away, I visited with Violet often. We were great friends besides being related. I miss both of them.
