It's Complicated

Early yesterday morning we got a call from our son in Texas. He wondered if we would like to meet his daughter at a restaurant in Yoder (about 10 miles from our home.) We said Sure!
She was on her way from San Marcos, TX, to Colorado for a skiing trip with four friends. So we got dressed and drove to the Carriage Crossing.

Over mounds of biscuits and gravy, mush, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns and French Toast, we got acquainted with her friends.
A fun way to start the spring break for us. Not sure how much they enjoyed hanging out with the old folks but they did say that most people they've seen in Kanas are friendly and they thought Texas was supposed to be the friendly state.
