It could have been much worse; couch cushions, quilts, antique round table claw feet..... I believe this dog does not like to be left alone. We could try some crate training but I don't think we could bear the cries of sadness.

You better bite the bullet or you'll have a major problem. Puppies are great fun but they can also be a problem. That little guy is going to rule your life.
