Time Goes By

I have graduated to walking around the house without a walker or cane. Not the case outside. Some days a nap is necessary - some days not. Everything takes several two to three times longer (could we say ten times?) than it did. We have had home care nurses here since the first of September. What a wonderful system. My friend in Omaha says they are called VNA; Volunteer Nurses? These are not volunteers but they sure knw all the hints to help someone getting back to where they were.

So that's enough about that. However, since the days are filled with exercises, RX, meals, putting on pressure hose and trying to not step on O2 tubing, it is challenging. Lee has his four wheeled walker so we try to stay out of each other's way!

Thanks for all the comments and good wishes. Not much else to report.

  1. I'm glad things are improving for you. Life does present obstacles at times doesn't it? I believe VNA is for "Visiting Nurses Association". I'll be continuing to pray for both you and Lee.
    Blessings,
