Outhouse

My granddad was a carpenter. He built these small outhouses and I am lucky to have one of them

There is a star in the door and it is a "three holer."  He even made a small catalog from pages from a regular catalog, held together with string. My grandmother may have done that but I'm not sure.
On the reverse of the wooden box is the word "cobs."

Boy, am I glad we are past the days when we had to use these on the farm. I never lived in the country but I visited there every summer. I remember the heat, the wasps and a certain odor.
