My first taste of this product today. I guess it'll do as a substitute, but I wouldn't dignify it with the label "bacon." Maybe I cooked it too long. Medium heat, 5 - 6 minutes didn't seem to produce slices that looked cooked. So I left it in longer. Very chewy.
