Sleep

Yesterday was not a nap day. It was a go to bed early day and sleep late this morning day. And it's a miracle - I am not as tired today. I actually finished some things that needed to be done. Laundry and ordering groceries.

Maybe I should try an earlier bedtime more often. The only hitch is, after about 3 1/2 hours I am wide awake for about two hours; then back to sleep for another four. Strange sleeping patterns for these later years!

  1. I do the same thing some nights...sleep until I have to make a potty trip and then stay away for an hour sometimes two and then sleep again...seems like I sleep the best from 5 to 9:)

  2. Isn't it strange? I find myself unable to fall asleep until nearly midnight or later most nights. Then I get up at 5:00 for an hour or so before Dennis goes to work. I lay back down around 6:00 and end up sleeping until 7 or 8. This is after going to bed between 9-10 for years and up very early to go to work. It seems all of my sleep patterns are changing completely.

  3. I hate waking in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep. It almost every night for me.

    If I dream, the dreams are all horrible. Usually I am back at school. My class is completely out of control. Or worse, I have lost 30 kids. Why can’t I dream of gardens, calm seas, and paradise.

    1. Same here. Mine are about fifty-fifty horrible and good dreams! Wish I could turn them off.
