Nothing exciting is happening here which is a good thing. My Skype buddy in New Jersey may be getting some snow. It's funny how the national weather mentions Washington D.C. and New York but they skip over Jersey. I guess they think we know it's somewhere in between the two and we can figure out it must be doing the same thing there that it is doing on the rest of the coast. I did hear that parts of the New Jersey coast may have tides higher than usual but they did not identify the locations.

Lee's sister lives near, but high above, some water that rises with the tide. I forget what it's called but it's not a bay. I'll have to check the Google map.

The map tells me it's a pond.  Now is that so hard to remember?
