Birthday Today

I think  this may be one of the first pictures of me and my mom.  I was about five months old when they adopted me in September. There are still leaves on the trees but we are dressed warmly.

I've had a great day with texts, phone calls, posts on Facebook and flowers and fudge and a balloon delivered to the door! One call was from the sister of a friend who lived in Florida and died a few years ago. Jane said she got message from Carlene to call me. How nice is that?

Of course, there was some Skyping between here and Omaha, California and New Jersey! I really enjoy all this technology that let's us keep in touch.
