Surprise Visitors!

A couple of weeks ago our doorbell rang. We don't get a lot of dings from it!

I opened the door and saw a K-State sweat shirt. I looked up and saw someone that I hadn't seen for about thirty years....a friend of our younger son who spent a lot of time at out house! He and his wife and twelve year old son were on their way to visit his dad in a town west of here. They stopped here to see us. We had such a good time catching up.

He's retired after teaching for twenty-seven years. He moved back to Kansas after spending most of his career in Washington state.

We used to tease him about looking like Robert Redford. And he still does - a younger RR!
