Our younger son painted and fixed up his room while he was in high school. I really liked it until we started to repaint. Seems it takes about three coats of flat latex to cover glossy paint. We later converted it to a dining room since our small house had no place to eat! TV trays plus a small bar L. installed in the kitchen were the options.
