Brownie Troop ca. 1938

This was the troop that my mom (on the right in her nurse's uniform) and her friend had in the 1930's.
I am the one holding up an acorn or SOMEthing third from the right. My cousin, Marcheta, is to my left and friend, Dana next to her near the Red Cross flag. This was at Camp Fairchild, west of Hutchinson on Cow Creek. Dana's mother, Cecil is the woman on the left, the co-leader. Lots of fun in the summer time with tents even!
