Black Balloons

We got out today in the sunshine and 49 degree temperatures to buy a small battery. On the way we saw these balloons in a tree two doors down. Wonder what was being celebrated. Did someone turn forty? Or eighty? They could have arrived from anywhere on the wind that has been blowing. That wind is also helping melt our snow. It feels almost springy out!
