The answering machine is a wonderful thing. So far this afternoon we have heard from Mrs. H., a candidate's wife, Mr. H. himself and his opponent, Dr. M.
They all spoke at length. I'm not sure if they were all recordings but at least one of them may have been "live." I'll never know because I did not care to speak to them.

ReplyDeleteAnd, Mr. H. lost - a man who has held his seat in the House for several years and was kicked off the agriculture committee! Now he's kicked out of the November election. The story even produced one of those running lines under the main picture on the tv screen on CNN. Kansas house member voted out in primary.
