Fourth grade Lebo KS

Do these children look like they are about eight? The date on the picture might be in error since it  was written "1943." That would have made the boy in the back row, second from the right thirteen years old! My guess is it was 1940. Click to embiggen (word stolen from Mr. Patrick Tillett.)

      I doubt that. Pretty smart kid. Won Coffey County typing award for speed and accuracy. (Not in the 4th grade, however.)
