So yesterday L. told me there is another bird nest in the small holly tree near our back door.
In past years there has been an unpleasant incident following the same discovery.
Small bird leaves nest to fly (or falls out.)
Dogs find bird.
Disaster ensues.
To prevent this L. suggested removing the problem. I thought he meant the eggs.
He meant the whole nest.
Who does he appoint for this job?
One guess only.
Yep.
Gloves protected my hands from the pointy, sharp holly leaves.
I'm sure when the birds returned,
they were confused. No nest.
How sad. I hope the mother bird can find it in the new location.
